Finally.. my 3 effects are completed as follow..

Assignment A (WIP10)
Created Sweating effect on character:
I decided not to use the spiky effects that I wanted to create when jumping as it will clashed with the dust effect. So I changed to create sweating effect on the character. When the character is always running and jumping, he will be sweating.

I decided not to use the spiky effects that I wanted to create when jumping as it will clashed with the dust effect. So I changed to create sweating effect on the character. When the character is always running and jumping, he will be sweating.
I did it almost the same way. By adding Ellipsoid Particle Emitter, Particle Animator, Particle Renderer and Particle Texture and tweaked the values.

Merging/Adding the animation layers:
I merge and edit the move script for the animations. So when the player is not pressing any keys, the character will stay still. When the player press the forward and backward keys(up & down arrows), the character runs. Lastly when the player press on the jump key(space bar), the character will jump.

Assignment A (WIP09)
Creating Spiky Effect When Jumps
Followed a tutorial online and got to know about "Ellipsoid Particle Emitter" and "Particle Animator". With these I have more controls to create the particle effects I want. Firstly I tried placing the particles near the foot area hoping to create a spiky effect when it jumps.Particles settings

I also edited my move script so that my particles will be created when the player hits the jump key. However, I was unable to off the actual particle emitter, so it was following my player through out. This is a problem I faced.

Assignment A (WIP08)
Creating Particle Effects When Jumps
I want to create some particle effects around the character when it jumps.So I created particle system and added codes to my move script. This will make sure that the particles for the jump only appears when the player hit the jump key, in our case is the spacebar key.

However there is a problem where I cant make the particle disappears and they all stayed right at the places the character jumps, which is weird. So I am still figuring ways to somewhat destroys them.

Solving Problem of Slow Start-up
Turned on each of our objects one by one to find out what causes the problem of loading too long when starting up. The problem was because of the machine gun. Therefore I went to find another model and texture it again. Problem was solved! Now we do not have to wait for so long for it to start up!

Creating Light Animation
We want the lighting to decrease as half of the time passes to increase the difficulties of the player to collect the coins. Therefore, I research tutorials and follow some ways to animate the lighting of my scene. After hours of trying, I was about to get what I wanted.Firstly I added a script, calling it "DayToNight", this is to get the light(sunlight), camera and the day and night materials.

Then I added a "Changing" script, this is to create the moment change between the day and night.

I was having problems after I am down following the steps as my scene gets way too bright and was not dark enough when it comes to night, also the time when it turns dark is way too fast, like at right at the start of the game, it starts to get dark, which are not what I wanted.
After some tries, I am able to solve the problem by tweaking the Ambient Light in the Render Settings darker so my scene will go even darker when comes to night time. As for the time, I am able to tweak the range value of my light to about 2800 and the environment only turns darker after my time passes half.

Creating Alert Sign
I tried to create an alert sign when my character gets closer to the guns. I found a way which is using the Distance in the script to count and locate the distance between objects. I also want to add a GUITexture. However after much tries, there are still errors that I do not know how to solve.

Assignment A (WIP06) Effects
We came out with ideas on what effects to have in our game.
So for me, I will be doing..
1. Create effects on the foot when it jumps.
2. Create a alert effect when the character gets closer to the guns.
3. Animate the surrounding lighting darker when the light decreases.

Assignment A (WIP05)
Previously I was having problems when importing the animation was because I did not checked the bake animation while exporting it to FBX file. Also I added rigid body to all the geometries in Unity which was wrong, I should only add rigid body to the geometries that will move. So with the help of Mr.Ron, I exported the animated character with the bake animation checked and imported it back to Unity. Also I added the split animation and adjust it by shortening the frame and checked the "loop" to get the best running animation and added it to the character. And it works!

For the move script we added to the character, we adjusted the values to make the movements, rotation and jump to suit our game. I added box and mesh colliders to all the geometries to prevent the character from going through them.

I helped with the part when our character collects the coins and it disappears. I also helped with editing the timer and score scripts and make them worked. Like adding "public GUIText;" in order to assign them correctly with the respecting texts.

Assignment A (WIP04)
I did the running animation for the character in Maya.
However I'm having difficulties in importing the animation into Unity. The movements seems to be totally different from what I have animated above.

Assignment A (WIP03)
I re-textured the gun machine to suit our game better and tried bringing it to Unity. In Unity I still have to assign the textures and tweak the value individually. In Unity, I met problems as I cannot mirror the textures. I did some research but still do not understand how to get.

I tried to start making the machine gun shoot. By creating Prefabs and the particles. However I am still in the process as I am still not sure of the steps. I am stuck at most of the times.

Assignment A (WIP02)
At the door area of the gun machine, some of the vertexes are not right so I did some amendments by shifting and merging them. I also textured the gun machine by tweaking the values and adding bumps.

Assignment A (Work Plan)
As for me, my role would be creating the obstacles. So after deciding the obstacles, example like guns and bombs, I will have to create the scripts for it. I would increase the difficulties of the game by allowing the guns to shoot at a larger angle and the bullets to shoot further.
